Ultrasonography


Ultrasound scan is performed in order to check the quantity of your growing eggs in each menstrual cycle and count the antral follicles (growing follicles). Ultrasound scan can also detect ovarian cysts, polycystic ovarian syndrome and abnormality of uterus causing a negative impact to pregnancy.


Hormone & Blood Test


It is neccesary to make sure that your health condition is proper for pregnancy and will not have any detrimental effect on your baby, some of blood test should be done before the treatment starts. The blood and hormone test are also giving some clue to identify infertility cause and very important for the follow up of follicle growth and medication response


Hysteroscopy


To ensure the uterine cavity is in the most appropriate condition for pregnancy without any abnormalities or diseases such as endometrial polyp, uterine leiomyoma, uterine synechiae or adhesion, congenital uterine anomalies such as septate uterine, or double uterus. This would encourage the patient undergo more successful ART treatment. The procedure called “office flexible hysteroscopy” would help the physician evaluate the inside of the uterus to identify any abnormality. By insertion of small flexible catheter with camera at its tip through the vagina and into the uterus in order to display your uterine cavity on the screen. This procedure can performed approximately 10-15 minutes long in the usual examination room with no sedation required. Unlike the traditional hysteroscopy which requires admission for rehab. This technology may help the physician determine the right infertility treatment planning and may reduce the risk of miscarriage."


Semen Analysis


Semen Analysis is a basic but important examination in the assessment of male infertility. The patient should refrain from semen ejaculation for 2-5 days before semen analysis. The test measures quantity and quality of semen to determine the right selection of infertility treatment.
